Budgets

The Council's budgeting process begins in November each year. It is the responsibility of the Town Council to determine and approve the budget. The difference between what the Council plans to spend money on and its income is the amount of money which is raised by way of a 'precept'. A parish/town council's precept is the amount of money it receives from the Council tax payers of the parish/town. This forms part of the total amount of Council Tax collected by the District Council. (West Suffolk Council). Please select below a budget you wish to look at.
