Grant funding

Each year Bury St Edmunds Town Council awards grants of money to local groups and non-profit making organisations for projects and activities which directly benefit the people who live in Bury St Edmunds.

Grant funding is available for one-off funding which can be used to:

• Help start a new group
• Help fund a specific project or initiative
• Help with the purchase of equipment (or similar)
• Help develop skills.

Completed applications which comply with the Grant funding policy and which are submitted with the relevant supporting documentation are considered throughout the year.

Councillors also have Locality Budgets which enable them to give financial support to groups and organisations for projects in their particular Ward. Find out who to contact in your ward.
