CITIZEN OF THE YEAR & YOUNG CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2018

Each year Bury St Edmunds Town Council, as part of its St Edmund's Day Celebrations, marks the occasion by presenting Civic Awards for 'Citizen of the Year' and 'Young Citizen of the Year'.  This year the criteria for nominations were widened to enable not just residents, but also individuals who do not live in the town, to be nominated for the very valuable, and often unappreciated, voluntary work they do in the town for the benefit of the people of Bury St Edmunds.  The Awards Presentation evening was held on Monday 19 November 2018.
